How to reach Lappeenranta

Lappeenranta is easy to reach – not only in Finland but also from Europe and Russia. Extensive road, railway and waterway connections run by and through Lappeenranta. The new Allegro train travels quickly and conveniently from Vyborg and St. Petersburg to Vainikkala, Lappeenranta. St. Petersburg is only a 1.5-hour train ride away from Vainikkala Railway Station. Ryanair flies to Lappeenranta International Airport from Milan and Düsseldorf in just three hours, and from Barcelona in approximately four hours.
